Brent Owen is a doctor, a friend, a farmer, and dad. Up until one short year ago, he was living the American Dream with his wife Hilah in rural Iowa. With a beautiful family farm, four amazing kids, the life they had built together was nothing short of picture perfect. Together they had cultivated a lasting legacy for their family and community. They were a real life power couple.
But on June 3rd, 2023, all of that changed. Hilah passed away tragically and suddenly at the age of 41 from a pulmonary embolism. Tragedy and the American Dream collided, and it turned Brent’s world upside down. Now, as a single parent wearing many hats for his family and community, he is picking up the pieces and aftermath. He is grieving, but he is still moving forward in the most beautiful ways.
